The inaugural Maui Wedding and Event Association Holiday Party was a night to remember! Held on December 10, 2024, at the stunning Sugar Beach Events, over 140 guests gathered to celebrate the season in true Maui style. From 5:30 to 9:30 PM, attendees were treated to an unforgettable evening of festive fun, mouthwatering cuisine, and heartfelt community spirit.
The evening’s “Vintage Rewind” theme invited guests to dress in their favorite vintage styles, with prizes awarded for the best dressed from each era. Adding to the tropical holiday flair, Santa himself made an appearance in sunglasses and slippers, spreading cheer and posing for photos. A classic car provided by Maui Roadsters added extra charm and was the perfect backdrop for snapshots. A Feast to Remember Guests savored a delectable array of vintage inspired dishes from Sugar Beach Events, Cutting Edge Catering, The Charcuterie Plus Bar Maui, and Food for the Soul, while the Zero Proof bar by Stir Beverage & the fabulous Sugar Beach bar team kept the refreshments flowing. For dessert, Maui Wedding Cakes delighted with their chocolate-covered rum balls, a sweet finish to the culinary experience. Chairs and linens were courtesy of MC&A.
Heartfelt Giving The spirit of aloha shone brightly under the Christmas tree, which overflowed with generous donations for Women Helping Women Maui and Hale Kau Kau. It was a beautiful reminder of the community’s dedication to giving back.
Entertainment and Highlights The evening’s design and décor, courtesy of Celebrations by Tori and an incredible team of collaborators, transformed the space into a festive wonderland. Big thanks to A Maui Wedding Day, Ku’uipo Weddings, KH&Co, The Perfect Wedding, White Orchid Weddings and Your Aloha Wedding Co. for helping make the space gorgeous.
Guests were enchanted by Ariel Quiroz of Maui Wedding Art, who created hand-drawn portraits throughout the night, and danced the evening away to beats by Maui DJ Services, complete with dazzling cold spark effects.
The Strike A Pose photo booth provided plenty of opportunities for playful snapshots, while professional photographers Tim Nguyen of OhWowFotos and Matias Ezcurria captured the magic of the evening.
